Some things stay with you. A paw print made in the last quiet minutes. A face captured before memory softens the edges. The way a handmade thing says you mattered in a way words alone never quite can.

What We’re Building

Our Vision

Black Squirrel Art Company is a custom laser engraving studio in development, focused on handcrafted pet memorial pieces for families who want to honor their animals with something lasting and beautiful. We are building deliberately—taking the time to get the craft, the relationships, and the experience right before we open our doors.

Our model is built around trusted veterinary partnerships. The right moment to offer a family a memorial piece is when they are already in the care of someone they trust. We’re developing a small, carefully selected network of founding Practice Partners who share that belief.

We are not yet open for orders. We are open for conversations.

We’re looking for a small number of independent veterinary practices in the Atlanta area to serve as founding Practice Partners as we prepare to launch. If you are a practice owner who cares deeply about your clients’ full experience—including their experience of loss—we’d like to talk.

Founding partners will help shape how this program works. We’re listening before we’re selling.
